In Proverbs 31:10 –31, there is a beautiful description of an excellent wife who provides for her family. She makes sure that she can be trusted in every affairs of her household by the decisions she make and the fruit of her hands to provide for her family. She is called blessed by her husband and her children because she is a blessing to the family as an excellent mother and wife.

Learning Technologies desires to be the last mile to bring biblical resources to the remote church; we do want to try our best and feel it is our burden to provide for the technical needs of the pastors and the Churches in the remote parts and so with the Lord’s direction and will, we would love to be doing just that!

One of the successful ways we are doing that is by looking out for every opportunity to get hold of devices and resources in order to provide. Recently, our CRMF General Manager, Michael Wakefield went out into Western Highlands Province to help link up a Christian Radio Station and saw a device called “LightStream Portable ST 1.0. at a Nazarene Base Hospital at Kudjip. It is a device for streaming gospel and media via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and SD card copying. It is a trial model by Renew Outreach Ministries from US; however Michael saw the potential of this device because we are always looking out for anything remote related.

Last month our new CRMF missionary family from Switzerland, the Schadeggs went for a Christmas break at Telefomin in the West Sepik Province and took with them a box of Bibles and audio bibles to sell; selling bibles while on holidays because the need is urgent!

Our CRMF staff members continue to promote Bibles and audio bibles to their local churches and during Jesus video shows; basically to provide for the needs of the churchas a duty.

The current increase of sales of smart phones over feature phones provides a way for Learning Technologies to use the opportunities available to spread the gospel. The testing of the LightStream confirmed the need to share the gospel via mobile phones with Jesus video and language resources from GRN as hot items.

Everything new always becomes an attraction as the picture shows eagerness to see what the new device can do. The team also had an opportunity to campaign against illegal copying and distribution of music by local artists and pirated videos.

Pray with us as we continue to test the device because we see the potential of LightStream device and the spreading of the gospel in remote communities.
